We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team, the core strategic projects of the Deutsche Telekom AG. The cross-functional team works closely with the development teams on their journey to DevOps. In our team, we aim for automation and slick solutions to provide a modern and stable runtime stack. In our culture we strive to create a start-up atmosphere in the enterprise.

We are working within a lean and automated approach using modern technologies and methods like GitOps, Infrastructure-as-a-Code on AWS, CI / CD and, of course, Agile. The project language is English.

We are looking for a candidate with DevOps mindset and familiar with or interested in learning one or more of these technologies :

• Containerization, K8s, EKS
• Automation
• CI / CD (Gitlab, ArgoCD)
• GitOps

What tasks we have :

• Work in one of our expert groups (Flocks), e.g. API, AWS Platform engineering
• Ensuring application quality (Prod QA)
• Technical E2E Incident analysis / troubleshooting
• Sustainable Operation (SRE experience)
• Application maintenance & support incl. on-call
• Disaster recovery and high availability
• Close collaboration with development teams (Continuous Improvement)
