Project description: At the Telco Hub in Madrid, we are pioneers in merging IT and Telco, building and scaling Telco as a Platform (TaaP) on our proprietary layered cloud. Our teams operate in cross-country and cross-functional squads, delivering cutting-edge services to Europe's most valued Operator. Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of Ericsson's NVFI solution hosting virtual ePC, including optimization, operation, incident, problem, and change management.
  • Coordinate with technical teams and vendors, monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement patches and updates.
  • Define and execute major release upgrades, develop testing and troubleshooting procedures, and document best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize connectivity and improve VNF deployment processes.
  • Support complex projects, implement automated monitoring and change methods, and develop disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure security compliance, coordinate hardware repairs, and plan VM migrations.
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of operating and monitoring compute hardware and Linux (Ubuntu and Suse).
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, troubleshooting IPv4/IPv6 networks, and protocols such as TCP, UDP, BGP, BFD.
  • Knowledge of L2 switching networks, ETSI-MANO architecture, VNF-M procedures, Openstack, and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of packet core network components, interfaces, and protocols, with experience on VNF onboarding.
  • Ability to document technical requirements and collaborate in both classic and agile environments.
