A leading tech company is seeking experienced DevOps Engineers to design and maintain the core development infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work extensively with software solutions, CI/CD environments, Linux servers, and network engineering. This role offers flexibility with remote work options or sponsorship for Dubai work visas.

Formación

• Experience operating Linux servers at system administrator level.
• Knowledge of Ethernet/IP networking, preferably with CCNA.
• Proficient in Docker, QEMU, KVM, and scripting in Bash and Python.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and operate CI/CD infrastructure for DevOps.
• Manage self-hosted SSO and corporate VPN solutions.
• User Debian Linux VMs for building Jenkins containers.

Our team is developing a network operating system driving white box switches and routers. The NOS is deployed in on-premise cloud data centre environments for our enterprise and MSDC customers.

We are looking for experienced DevOps Engineers to join our team to design, deploy, and operate the development infrastructure and various internal services used by software engineers and QA testing engineers.

Required Skills

• Experience operating Linux servers (VMs) at system administrator level, preferably Debian family
• Network Engineering — Ethernet / IP networking (CCNA or equivalent)
• Knowledge of virtualisation and containerisation (prepare QEMU / KVM VM config, package apps in Docker containers)
• Bash and Python scripting (able to automate tasks, write scripts from scratch, interpret and modify existing scripts of ~10k lines or more)
• SCM (Git) and Git Flow knowledge : branching, rebasing, merge requests

Responsibilities

Develop and operate software solutions and CI / CD infrastructure used by the software development team, including :

• SSO (self-hosted)
• Corporate VPN (e.g., Wireguard, OpenConnect)
• Build servers : Debian Linux VMs with Docker containers
• Jenkins CI containerised in dedicated Debian VMs
• Mattermost (self-hosted)
• Various nginx-based servers in reverse proxy capacity (alternatives : Traefik or Caddy)
• ELK stack for centralized log collection and analytics
• JIRA cloud-hosted instance
• Vault by Hashicorp
• Micro API services based on Django or Flask frameworks
• NetBox IPAM

Desired Skills

• Experience with the ELK software stack
• Writing scripts in Apache Groovy DSL
• Building service APIs with Django or Flask
• Writing complex Ansible playbooks (roles, templates, group and host variables, handlers, modules)
• Designing and operating CI / CD DevOps environments
• Extensive experience with Git SCMs (Git, Gitea, GitLab)

The client can sponsor work visas for Dubai, or the role can be remote from your home country.
