UST busca un Forward Deployed Engineer para liderar la migración de aplicaciones a la nube y la adopción de prácticas DevOps. El rol participa en la migración de pipelines CI/CD a GitLab, asegurando estándares de la plataforma y controles de seguridad.

Se requiere experiencia en Java/.NET/Python, Azure, Kubernetes y entornos SAFe, con fluidez en inglés. Se trabajará en Madrid con modalidad híbrida (3 días oficina, 2 teletrabajo).

Formación

• Ingeniero de software con experiencia práctica en desarrollo de aplicaciones (Java, .NET, Python o similar).
• Experiencia práctica creando y manteniendo pipelines CI/CD y migrando entre toolchains (Bitbucket/Jenkins → GitLab).
• Fuerte entendimiento de DevOps, flujos Git y prácticas de entrega modernas.
• Experiencia con servicios de Microsoft Azure e IaC.
• Experiencia en despliegue de workloads en contenedores y orquestación (Nexus, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experiencia en entornos empresariales aislados, con dependencias internas.
• Certificaciones en la nube (p. ej. Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) son una ventaja.
• Fluidez en inglés.
• Experiencia en entornos ágiles (SAFe o similar) y colaboración entre equipos

Responsabilidades

• Apoyar a múltiples Agile Release Trains (ARTs) y equipos de producto en la onboarding a nuestra plataforma DevOps.
• Impulsar la migración de apps a la nube cumpliendo estándares y controles de seguridad.
• Liderar migración de pipelines CI/CD a GitLab y asegurar cumplimiento.
• Colaborar con equipos de desarrollo, enseñando prácticas DevOps y CI/CD.
• Contribuir a mejorar la experiencia de desarrollo mediante plantillas y documentación.

What we look for? We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to play a key role in helping our software development teams migrate to the cloud and adopt DevOps best practices across the project of the client from the banking sector. Work Location: Work model in hybrid in Madrid (3 days at the office, 2 WFH).

Responsabilidades

• Support multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and product teams in onboarding to our internal DevOps platform and curated Azure services
• Drive the re-platforming/migration of applications to cloud infrastructure while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, compliance controls, and secure-by-design principles
• Drive the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Bitbucket/Jenkins to GitLab, ensuring alignment with platform standards and compliance requirements
• Collaborate closely with development teams, educating and enabling them on DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native development
• Contribute to improving the developer experience by creating templates, documentation, and training materials that simplify platform adoption

Requisitos

• Software engineer with profound hands‑on experience in application development (Java, .NET, Python, or similar)
• Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and migrating between toolchains (Bitbucket/Jenkins → GitLab)
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Git workflows, and modern delivery practices
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services and Infrastructure‑as‑Code
• Experience with deployment of containerized workloads and orchestration (Nexus, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working in air‑gapped or restricted enterprise environments, where all external dependencies must be consumed from internal registries
• Cloud certifications (e.G., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a strong advantage
• Fluency in English
• Experience working in agile environments (SAFe or similar) and collaborating across multiple teams
