A leading company in Asturias is seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance technology infrastructure and ensure automation of deployment processes. In this role, you will be pivotal in system administration, continuous integration, and maintaining optimal server performance. Formación

• 3+ years of experience in an Admin / DevOps environment.
• Solid experience in system administration, mainly Linux.
• Mastery of Gitlab CI / CD and containerization tools.

Descripción del empleo

As a DevOps Engineer in our production department, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring the continued smooth running of our technology infrastructure. You will collaborate daily with our developers and technical managers to understand, create and ensure the deployment of our projects while respecting best practices and market standards.

• Infrastructure Implementation and Maintenance :
• Design, deploy, and maintain system infrastructures, ensuring their stability, performance, and security.
• Deployments Automation :
• Set up and maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines to optimize development and delivery cycles.
• Work on ways to automate and improve development and deployment processes.
• Configuration Management :
• Ensure effective configuration management to ensure system consistency and reliability.
• Performance Optimization :
• Monitor and optimize application and server performance to ensure an optimal user experience.
• Security and Compliance :
• Implement security measures and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Ensure systems are secure and protected against cybersecurity threats.
• DevOps Practices :
• Ensure good Admin / DevOps practices.
• Collaborate effectively with other project stakeholders, developers, project managers, etc.
• Technological monitoring covering all aspects of the position (Dev, Ops, DevOps, quality, etc.).

Additional Information : We have developed a complete CI / CD process to automate deployment based on Gitlab CI and Docker (we love automating everything). We have integrated several tools to facilitate deployments for the entire development team (but that's a secret for now ).

Profile Requirements

Technical Skills :

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an Admin / DevOps environment
• Solid experience in system administration (mainly Linux).
• Mastery of virtualization and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Proxmox VE, etc.).
• Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and best practices.
• Mastery of Gitlab CI / CD or other similar tools.

Interpersonal Skills :

• You are fluent in French or English.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Curiosity and initiative.
• You like to learn new technologies and stay curious about what is happening in the industry.
• Team spirit and problem-solving skills
