Job summary

SIX Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead DevOps strategy, governance and tooling standardization across platforms. You will govern CI/CD pipelines and environments, focusing on reliable, secure delivery using GitLab CI.

You will also develop AI-assisted DevOps practices to improve automation and team productivity, and manage resources within OpenShift projects while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams in a hybrid work model in Madrid/Spain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Hands-on DevOps and platform engineering experience required.
• Experience with OpenShift and CI/CD tooling for automated delivery.

Do you want to shape DevOps practices in a collaborative and continuously evolving technology environment? We seek a DevOps Engineer to join our team, responsible for DevOps strategy, governance and tooling standardization, CI/CD pipeline and environment governance, and AI-assisted DevOps practices. What You Will Do

• Drive DevOps strategy, governance and tooling standardization, ensuring consistent practices across platforms and teams.
• Govern CI/CD pipelines and environments, promoting reliable, secure and repeatable delivery processes using GitLab CI.
• Develop AI-assisted DevOps practices to improve automation, operational efficiency, engineering quality and team productivity.
• Manage application-level resources within OpenShift projects, including configmaps, secrets, access and configuration changes.
• Support release management and Azure resource operations while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; a Master’s degree is an advantage, along with relevant experience in DevOps and platform engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Argo CD, Ansible Automation Platform and GitLab CI for automated software delivery and operations.
• Hands‑on experience managing application resources within OpenShift projects and virtual machines, including troubleshooting and access.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Azure, including resource group contributor activities and management of cloud resources and experience supporting release management, entitlement management and production-oriented DevOps operational processes.
• Strong communication skills with English at C1 level and Spanish at C2 level, supporting effective cross-team collaboration.
