Formación

Job Description

You are looking to work in a tight-knit team of experienced developers and DevOps engineers, where problem solving and autonomy are highly valued. This role is based in our Barcelona office, with a company culture that supports a high degree of location flexibility. Our product runs in the AWS cloud as a continuously evolving distributed application, featuring a central PHP / Laravel web platform, along with specialized medical components, AI, and microservices integrated via APIs. Knowledge sharing and learning from colleagues are strongly encouraged and practiced.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure the availability and scalability of the AWS infrastructure.
2. Collaborate within a DevOps team to design, deploy, support, and automate 24/7 operations.
3. Gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain highly available, supportable solutions, and streamline/deploy application pipelines automatically.
4. Manage backup and recovery policies to prevent data loss.
5. Work with developers and DevOps team members to define and establish technology standards.

Minimum requirements include:

1. Over 5 years of experience with Amazon AWS, continuous deployment, and delivery.
2. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as AWS ECS.
3. Knowledge of CI/CD workflows; experience with GitLab CI/CD is preferred, but GitHub Actions experience is also acceptable.
4. Advanced understanding of observability for cloud-native applications.
5. Experience with FinOps cost management strategies.
6. Proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform.
7. Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
8. Experience with data handling and protection.
9. Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Golang.
