Lognext is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer/DevOps & Automation in Madrid to join our engineering team. The role emphasizes automation, scripting, and maintaining robust infrastructure for critical processes.

You will design and implement automation tools, build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, develop in Python (FastAPI), and manage MS SQL and PostgreSQL databases in a global banking environment. French is a plus, English C1.

Formación

• 5+ years of technical experience in software development, IT operations, automation, or DevOps tooling.
• Strong Python development skills, including FastAPI.
• Experience building and integrating APIs.
• Experience with MS SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Background in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure or IT Operations.
• Ability to work with strategic priorities and strict deadlines.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps & Automation profile with at least 5 years of technical experience in software development, IT operations, automation, or DevOps tooling.

The main focus of the role includes:

• Designing and implementing automation tools.
• Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Development in Python, especially using FastAPI.
• Using Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
• Automation with Ansible Tower.
• Working with SQL databases, mainly MS SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Building and integrating APIs.
• Monitoring and managing infrastructure to ensure performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshooting issues related to development, deployment, and operations.
• Continuously improving processes and tools.

Is a hybrid position with a strong emphasis on automation, scripting, DevOps, infrastructure, and support for critical processes.

• Client: BNP Paribas / international banking environment.
• Standard working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• High level of English required: C1, both spoken and written.
• French is a plus.
• Some Spanish public holidays may be considered working days due to the international calendar, with reduced coverage and specific compensation.
• Possible on-call support once implemented, also with specific compensation.
• Possible planned weekend activities, compensated when required.

Key skills we are looking for

From a technical perspective, the most important requirements are solid experience in:

• Python development, ideally with FastAPI.
• Building and integrating APIs.
• SQL databases: MS SQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, or IT Operations environments.
• Ability to work with strategic priorities and demanding deadlines.

As a plus, we value experience with:

• Linux and Windows.
• Cloud platforms or private cloud environments.
