Location : Madrid - 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home

What You’ll Do

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to platform engineering teams
• Collaborate across teams to shape architectural strategies aligned with business goals
• Design and implement scalable, reliable systems using modern cloud technologies
• Drive continuous improvements, optimising platform infrastructure and efficiency
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, ensuring high performance and stability
• Advocate for cutting-edge technologies and best industry practices
• Represent the company at technical conferences, meet-ups, and industry events

What They’re Looking For

• Extensive experience in large scale distributed systems architecture
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and deployment strategies
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, writing clean and maintainable code
• Leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions
• Passion for innovation, staying up to date with emerging technologies
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to contribute to the tech community and represent the company externally

While this role requires 4 days a week in the office, the client understands that flexibility is key. There is operational flexibility around working hours, and if occasionally additional home working days are needed on a case by case basis, they will be reviewed accordingly.
