Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with specialized knowledge in IFRS 15 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing systems and processes that ensure compliance with IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards. This role requires a strong understanding of both data engineering principles and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software solutions that facilitate accurate revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS 15.
• Establish and implement processes to ensure ongoing adherence to IFRS 15 standards across all relevant projects.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and IT, to integrate IFRS 15 requirements into existing systems and workflows.
• Conduct testing and documentation.
• Stay updated with changes in IFRS 15 standards and proactively adjust systems and processes to maintain compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in system development with a focus on financial reporting standards, preferably IFRS 15.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in software development, including experience with relevant programming languages and tools.
• Skills in Python, Spark, Scala.
• Database: MySQL 8.0.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing regulations and proactively implement necessary changes.
