A leading company in the automotive sector is seeking a candidate for functional safety roles in Barcelona. The position requires a degree in engineering and relevant experience in risk assessments and safety analyses, alongside strong communication skills and a passion for mobility development. Candidates should be familiar with automotive development processes and Functional Safety standards.

Formación

• Familiar with Functional Safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
• Basic experience in control engineering and model-based development.
• Proficient in English and Spanish; German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Documentation of functional safety related work products.
• Handling risk assessments and safety analyses (HARA, FMEA, FTA).
• Creating and conceptualizing safety features.

Documentation of functional safety related work products.

Handling risk assessments, concept creation and safety analyses HARA, FMEA, FTA…) according to the standard specifications.

YOUR PROFILE : Necessary :

Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle technology, physics, computer science or similar.

Enthusiasm for mobility development and technical innovation as well as interest in functional safety or automotive cybersecurity and automated driving technologies.

Basic Experience in field of control engineering and model-based development (Matlab / Simulink, SySML or similar)

Familiar with development processes in the automotive sector as well as Functional Safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508 or similar)

Flexible, proactive, structured, and detail-oriented working style

Strong communication and team-working skills

Proficient English and Spanish language knowledge. German is a big plus.
