A leading fashion supplier seeks a dynamic Jersey Designer in Spain to enhance a fashion account. The role involves designing new product ranges, engaging in trend research, and driving new business opportunities, requiring strong design experience and proficiency in Adobe platforms.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of proven design experience across fashion.
• Sound understanding of jersey fabrications.
• Proficient in using Adobe Platforms to create CADs.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting on the design of current jersey fashion ranges.
• Producing detailed technical packs for accurate first-time samples.
• Carrying out trend research and analysis.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and sales focused Jersey Designer to work for a leading fashion supplier who work with huge names on the high street delivering the latest trends.

Based in either London or Spain, you will be focusing on growing an existing fashion forward account in Spain and opening doors at this business. The ideal candidate will have great knowledge of both UK and EU markets.

You will design and contribute to the constant development and co-ordination of new product ranges, bearing in mind key trends, offering innovation and fresh approaches to design.

Main Responsibilities will include :

• Assisting on the design of current jersey fashion ranges to present to clients.
• To produce detailed technical packs for accurate first-time samples.
• Carry out trend research and analysis alongside colour trends.
• Lead customer meetings in Spain and present the latest trends and designs tailored to their brand DNA.
• Drive new business opportunities to meet targets.
• Create beautiful designs, mood boards, colour palettes and trend boards.
• Sourcing of fabric and trims.
• Work closely with management to develop and execute sales and design strategies.

Person Specifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of proven design experience across fashion.
• Sound understanding of jersey fabrications.
• Proficient in using Adobe Platforms to create CAD's.
• Confident, eager and hungry with extensive knowledge of both UK and EU markets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
