Una empresa líder en ingeniería y tecnología busca un Diseñador de Tuberías Senior para unirse a su equipo en Barcelona. Este papel clave implica liderar actividades de diseño y supervisar a un equipo de diseñadores, asegurando que se cumplan las especificaciones y estándares de la industria. Con un enfoque en la transición energética, el candidato ideal tendrá más de 10 años de experiencia en la industria química o petroquímica, y un sólido conocimiento de herramientas como Microstation y PDS. Formación

• 10+ años de experiencia en diseño de tuberías en la industria química o petroquímica.
• Experiencia en gestión de equipos de diseño y coordinación con especialistas.

Responsabilidades

• Responsable del diseño de un equipo asignado y gestión del equipo de diseño.
• Coordina con otros especialistas y sigue las interfaces del proyecto.

If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a Lead Piping Designer to join our team based in Barcelona, Spain, to lead the purchasing activities for the project.

Job Description

The main responsibilities will be:

1. Takes full responsibility over the design activities of an assigned unit.
2. Learns and handles applicable job specs, piping classes, standards, and working instructions that may be needed for the correct development of his assigned work.
3. Transmits instructions to and manages an assigned design team.
4. Develops the most critical designs and supports the less experienced designers.
5. Coordinates with other specialists involved in the studies (civil, stress, material, supports) and follows up on interfaces.

Requirements:

1. Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar function.
3. Experience in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical Industry.
4. Knowledge of Microstation and PDS.
5. Knowledge of codes ASME B31.1 and B31.3, ANSI, and ASME standards.
6. Knowledge of SmartPlant 3D and PDMS.
