Offer Description

Mission : Design, build, test and integrate electronic subsystems of experimental systems in microgravity.

Functions to be developed :

  1. Design electronic subsystems, selection and acquisition of components.
  2. Build and test the subsystems.
  3. Analyze test data in the laboratory and in microgravity experiments.
  4. Design and production of printed circuit boards (PCB).
  5. Use of Labview, C, Python.

Specific Requirements

Educational Requirements :

  1. Aerospace
  2. Microgravity platforms.
  3. Hypergravity.
  4. Power supply and power electronics.

Professional Experience :

Participation in research group projects.

Experience in functions similar to those described will be valued, specifically in the development of research activities, both in the university and industrial environment.

Languages :

  1. CATALAN : Basic
  2. ENGLISH : Good
  3. SPANISH : Good

Years of Research Experience : 1 - 4

Salary : €32,402.30 gross / year (for full time)

Eligibility Criteria

All candidates who cannot prove the required academic degree will be immediately withdrawn from the selection process.

The CVs will be assessed according to the following general criteria :

The maximum score for candidates who accomplish all the eligibility criteria stated in the job offer will be 10 points.

Threshold : 5 points.

The maximum score (10 points) will be distributed as follows :

  1. 1 point for required specialty.
  2. 2 points for required academic training.
  3. 2 points for technical competences.
  4. 1 point for organizational competences.
  5. 3 points for professional experience.
  6. 1 point for any aspect of the candidate’s professional profile determined as especially relevant by the Selection committee.

If the selection committee decides to include a personal interview as an additional step in the selection process, only candidates scored 5 or above for their CV will be retained for the interview step.

Interview Assessment Criteria :

Threshold : 3 points.

The maximum score will be distributed as follows :

  1. 2 points for adequacy to functional competences of the job.
  2. 2 points for adequacy of professional experience.
  3. 1 point for any aspect of the candidate’s professional profile determined as especially relevant by the Selection committee.

The eligible candidates will be ranked from highest to lowest score based on the selection criteria.
