Black & White Engineering busca un Design Manager para liderar la gestión de diseño en proyectos de data centres, coordinando equipos multidisciplinares y asegurando que los diseños progresen de concepto a construcción.

El candidato ideal debe tener experiencia en dirección de diseño, capacidad de gestionar interfaces y comunicar eficazmente con clientes y equipos, manteniendo la calidad y reduciendo riesgos en proyectos de gran envergadura.

Formación

• Amplia experiencia en gestión de diseño en entornos de consultoría o construcción.
• Coordinación de equipos de diseño multidisciplinarios en proyectos complejos.
• Excelentes habilidades de gestión de partes interesadas y comunicación.

Responsabilidades

• Llevar la coordinación de actividades de diseño multidisciplinario en proyectos de ingeniería complejos.
• Gestionar programas, hitos y entregables de diseño para ejecución del proyecto.
• Identificar y gestionar riesgos, interfaces y retos de coordinación a lo largo del ciclo.

This is an opportunity to play a central role in the delivery of highly technical data centre projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring that designs progress efficiently from concept through to construction. As a Design Manager, you will be at the heart of project delivery, overseeing design coordination, managing interfaces and helping teams navigate technical and programme challenges. You will work closely with engineers, clients and project stakeholders to maintain design quality, minimise risk and keep projects moving forward. What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design activities across complex engineering projects.
• Manage design programmes, milestones and deliverables to support successful project execution.
• Identify and manage design risks, interfaces and coordination challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate design reviews and technical workshops with internal teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure high standards of design quality, consistency and governance are maintained.
• Support effective communication between engineering disciplines, contractors and client teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design management processes and project delivery practices.

Essential Skills

• Strong experience in design management, engineering consultancy or construction project delivery environments.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams on complex projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of design processes, project planning and risk management.
• Ability to balance technical, programme and commercial considerations to support project success.
• Relevant engineering, construction or built environment background.
