Based in Madrid and reporting to the Vice President Design & Technical Services, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Accor's hotel portfolio across Iberia, Greece, Malta, the UK, DACH, and the Nordics. As Design Manager, you will support the delivery of new hotel developments, renovations, and rebranding projects, ensuring every project reflects Accor's brand standards while meeting operational, technical, and commercial objectives. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external partners, you will contribute to every stage of the project lifecycle—from feasibility through hotel opening—helping create exceptional hospitality experiences.
Manage hotel design projects from feasibility through construction, pre-opening, and hotel opening. Collaborate with owners, architects, interior designers, consultants, and project managers to ensure projects meet Accor's brand standards, operational requirements, and budget objectives. Review architectural layouts, design concepts, technical documentation, FF&E specifications, and consultants' proposals, providing recommendations throughout each project phase. Prepare design briefs, technical reports, meeting minutes, and project recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders. Work closely with Development, Operations, Marketing, Technical Services, and other internal teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully. Build strong relationships with owners and project teams, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the design and construction process. Stay up to date with hospitality design trends, technological innovations, and Accor brand standards to continuously enhance project quality. Travel regularly across Iberia and other European countries to attend workshops, site visits, sample room reviews, and pre-opening inspections.
