Schneider Electric Spain is seeking a Senior Design Reliability & Safety Engineer to join the Modular Data Centers team. The role focuses on embedding reliability, safety, and robustness into product design across multiple squads and business units.

You will lead DfSR deployments, champion safety integrations, and assess critical design elements with risk plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging ReliaSoft tools in an Agile environment.

Formación

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering or quality roles with focus on DfSR/DFSS in data center systems.
  • Proficient in ReliaSoft tools and Agile product development.
  • Strong customer orientation and application knowledge.
  • Excellent intercultural communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

The modular Data Centers have been driving tremendous growth in the segment during the last years. As part of the Data Center Systems Line of Business, the MODULAR DATA CENTER organization designs and integrates full solutions in the field of power conversion, energy storage, cooling, electrical distribution, and control software into modular enclosures.

About the Role

We are seeking aSenior Design Reliability & Safety Engineerto join our Data Center team of quality and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in reliability engineering, passionate about embedding safety, robustness, and reliability into product design across multiple squads and business units.

Key Responsibilities

As a DfSR Practitioner, you will:

  • Lead the deployment of Design for Reliability and Robustness (DfSR) processes, tools, and software across multiple product squads.
  • Champion the integration of safety and reliability principles into design practices, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Assess critical design elements and develop risk assessment plans focused on safety, robustness, and reliability.
What will help you to be successful?
  • Minimum5 years of experiencein engineering or quality roles, with a strong focus on Design for Reliability (DfSS, DfSR), data center systems especially modular data centers
  • Proficiency in ReliaSoft tools and experience in Agile product development environments.
  • Strong customer orientation and application knowledge.
  • Excellent intercultural communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred certifications:
  • DfSS Certifications (CSSGB or CSSBB) (Desirable)
  • Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) (Desirable)
  • Experience with DesignFMEA development is highly desirable.
