A leading company in renewable solutions seeks a Project Manager to oversee the development of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects in the Iberian region. The role involves collaboration with various teams, managing timelines and budgets, and requires strong technical knowledge of local electrical systems. Candidates must have over five years of experience in renewables and be fluent in Spanish and English.

Formación

• 5+ years in renewables with strong BESS/hybrid project experience in Iberia.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop utility-scale BESS projects from site identification to commissioning.
• Design smart, flexible systems (standalone and hybrid).

Leap29 is hiring on behalf of a leading IPP delivering fully integrated renewable solutions across Europe, including wind, solar, BESS, and green hydrogen. Develop utility-scale BESS projects from site identification to commissioning

Design smart, flexible systems (standalone and hybrid with wind / solar)

Navigate permitting and regulations with local authorities

Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, legal, financial) to ensure successful project execution

Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources

5+ years in renewables, with strong BESS / hybrid project experience in the Iberia region

• Strong knowledge of Spain and Portugal’s electrical transmission and distribution systems
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus)
