A leading integrated renewable solutions provider is seeking a project manager to oversee utility-scale BESS projects across Spain and Portugal. The role involves managing project timelines, navigating regulations, and collaborating with various internal teams to ensure successful execution. Candidates should possess strong project management skills and experience in the renewable sector, particularly with hybrid systems.

Formación

• 5+ years in renewables, particularly BESS / hybrid projects.
• Strong knowledge of Spain and Portugal’s electrical transmission and distribution systems.

Responsabilidades

• Develop utility-scale BESS projects from site identification to commissioning.
• Design standalone and hybrid systems with wind/solar.
• Navigate permitting and regulations with local authorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage project timelines and budgets.

Leap29 is hiring on behalf of a leading IPP delivering fully integrated renewable solutions across Europe, including wind, solar, BESS, and green hydrogen. Develop utility-scale BESS projects from site identification to commissioning

Design smart, flexible systems (standalone and hybrid with wind / solar)

Navigate permitting and regulations with local authorities

Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, legal, financial) to ensure successful project execution

Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources

5+ years in renewables, with strong BESS / hybrid project experience in the Iberia region

• Strong knowledge of Spain and Portugal’s electrical transmission and distribution systems
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus)
