Job summary

Siemens Mobility busca un Senior Commercial & Claims Manager para salvaguardar los intereses en el ciclo de vida de proyectos en el mercado español. Coordinará la gestión comercial, documental y de reclamaciones para asegurar la entrega exitosa de infraestructuras ferroviarias y proteger derechos comerciales y legales.

El candidato ideal posee una Ingeniería u otro campo técnico, más de 15 años en infraestructuras ferroviarias y al menos 7 años liderando reclamaciones complejas, con dominio del

Qualifications

• Ingeniería, Gestión de Proyectos, Tasación o campo técnico relacionado, con sólida base legal y comercial.
• Más de 15 años de experiencia en infraestructura ferroviaria, señalización, electrificación o proyectos llave en mano.
• Al menos 7 años dirigiendo procesos de reclamaciones complejas.
• Conocimiento profundo de la LCSP y la documentación de licitaciones públicas.
• Habilidades de negociación y gestión de stakeholders, con mentalidad analítica.
• Inglés y español fluidos.

Responsibilities

• Gestionar el ciclo de vida comercial y acuerdos para grandes proyectos ferroviarios.
• Preparar y defender reclamaciones y variaciones del proyecto.
• Proteger líneas base del proyecto mediante cambios de alcance y costes.
• Diseñar y mantener trazabilidad documental para posiciones comerciales.
• Liderar negociaciones con clientes, JV y subcontratistas y fortalecer relaciones.

Your mission in our team As a Senior Commercial & Claims Manager, you will safeguard Siemens Mobility’s interests throughout the entire project lifecycle in the Spanish market. You will drive robust commercial, documentary, and claims management, ensuring our complex railway infrastructure projects are delivered successfully and our business and legal rights are fiercely protected.

You’ll make a difference by

• Managing the end-to-end commercial lifecycle and agreements for major Spanish railway projects (ADIF, Renfe, Metro de Madrid, etc.), from tender handover to final close-out.
• Identifying, preparing, and defending complex commercial claims and project variations, coordinating strategies with Legal, Project Management, and external advisors.
• Safeguarding project baselines by meticulously managing scope changes, schedule extensions, and cost variations during execution.
• Designing and maintaining robust documentary traceability to preserve evidence, commercial positions, and negotiation leverage.
• Leading high-stakes negotiations with customers, joint venture partners, and subcontractors while strengthening long‑term relationships.

Your success is grounded in

• A Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical field, backed by strong applied legal and commercial knowledge.
• Over 15 years of solid experience executing railway infrastructure, signaling, electrification, or turnkey projects.
• At least 7 years of proven expertise leading complex claim processes in both pre‑litigation phases and judicial proceedings.
• Deep knowledge of Spanish public procurement law (LCSP), administrative tender documents, and the mechanics of public and private project agreements.
• Outstanding negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
• Fluency in Spanish and English to operate seamlessly in both local markets and our international corporate environment.
