Job summary

Seneca Nation Health System is seeking an entry-level Dental Assistant to work under a dentist's supervision and support patient care. The role involves chairside assistance, patient education, radiographs, and maintaining a clean, organized dental operatory.

The candidate should be enrolled in a Dental Assistant program or registered to take the DANB exam, with CPR/BLS certification required. Monday through Friday schedule and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit to sit, stand, and bend for long periods; may lift up to 25 lbs.
• Computer proficient with experience in a clinical healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine chairside assisting and records diagnostic information.
• Maintains cleanliness of dental areas and day-to-day operatory upkeep.
• Provides diagnostic aid including radiographs and patient histories.
• Educates patients regarding treatment and home care.
• Maintains dental equipment and monitors inventory and supplies.
• Prepares and maintains dental operatory per policy.
• Assists in dental laboratory tasks such as model duplication.
