An international consulting firm is looking for an experienced Demand Planning and IBP Consultant to enhance demand forecasting and ensure adherence to supply chain planning processes. This fully remote role requires strong expertise in IBP and experience with tools like SAP IBP and Power BI. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of IBP cycles and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Demand Planning and IBP Consultant to join an international team driving excellence in demand forecasting and Integrated Business Planning.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in aligning demand, supply, financials, and strategic goals for a leading global organisation.

Importantly, the primary goal of this project is to track how well different teams and markets are adhering to the established supply chain planning process — not to build the process itself, but to assess whether it is being followed properly and consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Demand Planning Processes:
   • Develop and manage accurate forecasts of customer demand
   • Leverage historical data, market trends, and stakeholder inputs
2. Monitor IBP Adherence:
   • Evaluate and report on how effectively teams are applying the IBP framework
   • Identify gaps and recommend improvements in compliance and consistency
3. Improve Forecast Accuracy & Process Discipline:
   • Measure forecast performance and drive improvements
   • Enhance planning tools, processes, and stakeholder engagement
4. Stakeholder Management:
   • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams

Key Requirements:

1. IBP Expertise:
   • Deep understanding of monthly IBP cycles and process design
   • Experience monitoring process adherence in complex organisations
2. Demand Planning Systems:
   • Strong hands-on experience with SAP IBP (preferred), APO, Oracle Demantra, o9, or similar tools
3. Data & Analytics Skills:
   • Advanced Excel
   • Power BI or Tableau
   • Basic SQL and statistical modelling
4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
   • Proven ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams

Contract Details:

• Length: 12-month contract (high likelihood of extension)
• Location: Fully remote (must be based within Europe)
• Start: ASAP
