Allianz Technology is seeking a Delivery Manager in Barcelona to oversee the end-to-end delivery of their global mobile app. This role requires a strong program management background, a proven track record in large-scale IT program deliveries, and the ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams.

The Delivery Manager will drive collaboration across international teams, engage with stakeholders, and implement strategic plans to ensure the program's success. A hybrid working model is offered, promoting work-life balance and innovation.

About The Job

Allianz in a Pocket is Allianz's global mobile app platform — a shared, modular solution providing customers with a single, consistent entry point to Allianz across markets. Built once and rolled out globally, the app is developed through a collaborative effort spanning multiple international teams. As Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end program delivery of the Allianz in a Pocket mobile app, orchestrating distributed build teams across Allianz Technology Thailand (front-end), Simplesurance in Berlin (integration layer), and the OE Allianz Technology teams. Based in Barcelona (or Madrid), you will drive delivery excellence across a complex, multi-vendor, multi-geography program. This role reports directly to the Head of CTO of the Global App.

What You Do

• Lead the global build and OE roll-outs of the Mobile App Program, ensuring successful delivery across multiple regions.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of product owners, developers, designers, and QA specialists – including internal and external providers.
• Manage and coordinate teams in Thailand, Germany and the OE, fostering collaboration and synergy.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the program's success, aligning with Allianz Technology's objectives.
• Engage with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs are met.
• Utilize strong technical expertise to solve complex problems and optimize program delivery.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the program, leveraging industry best practices.

What You Bring

• Proven experience leading large-scale, complex IT program deliveries in a multi-vendor, multi-geography environment.
• Strong program management background with a technical foundation — able to engage credibly with engineering teams on architecture, integration, and delivery challenges.
• Experience managing distributed teams across different time zones and cultures, with a track record of building high-performing cross‑functional delivery organizations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders across business and technology.
• Familiarity with mobile app delivery or digital product programs is a plus, though not a prerequisite.
• Agile and/or hybrid delivery methodology experience; PMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification desirable.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
