A rapidly growing startup is seeking a delivery engineer in Madrid to manage project delivery and technical support. This role requires expertise in IP networking, cybersecurity, and UNIX/Linux administration. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to implement solutions and support post-implementation inquiries. A degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering is essential, alongside 3 to 5 years' relevant experience.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years as a delivery engineer in IT or IoT.
• Knowledge of routing protocols, DNS, and DHCP.
• Familiarity with data sources like syslog, SNMP, Netflow.

Viewtinet is a fast-growing startup focused on IT smart analytics and traffic optimization. The delivery engineer collaborates with sales, delivery, and R&D. The DE is responsible for deploying proofs of concept and project delivery.

The delivery engineer is expected to:

• Focus on efficiently delivering projects and providing post-implementation support and solutions to Viewtinet's customer base.
• This involves implementing technical solutions using Viewtinet applications, hardware, and software on customer sites, and attending to post-sales and post-implementation technical and sales inquiries from customers.
• Interact with our development team to resolve issues when required.
• Work as a team player as well as independently, helping to develop new functionalities in Viewtinet products to automate delivery as much as possible.
• Explain our products to customers and configure policies, alarms, events, dashboards, etc.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a delivery engineer in other vendors or system integrators in IT or IoT technologies.

Requirements

• Knowledge of IP networking, including how IP networks work, routing protocols, DNS, DHCP.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity systems, firewalls, proxies, etc.
• Understanding or familiarity with data sources like syslog, SNMP, Netflow, xDRs, CDRs, and other similar data sources, including IoT data.
• Configuration and setup of servers and other vendor appliances.
• UNIX/Linux administration, including installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux services.
• Familiarity with shell scripting, virtualization, Docker, Kubernetes would be an advantage.
• Understanding of programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or related fields.
