Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid is seeking a dedicated Waiter / Waitress to join our elite Food & Beverage team. You will deliver flawless service across lunch and dinner, and contribute to outstanding guest experiences in our iconic luxury hotel.

About The Role

As a Waiter / Waitress at Deessa you will deliver flawless table service across lunch and dinner services, assist with special events and collaborate closely with Kitchen, Sommelier and Management to ensure outstanding food and beverage experiences. You will be an ambassador of the restaurant’s standards and culture, anticipating guest needs and contributing to a warm, professional atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate must possess strong gastronomic knowledge, advanced culinary techniques, and a deep understanding of products and raw materials. They should demonstrate refined culinary judgment, analytical skills, and great attention to detail. The role requires applying these competencies in a high-demand, fast-evolving environment.
• Serve food and beverages following MOHG standards and plating/service protocols; ensure correct presentation and timing.
• Support event and banqueting operations: prepare, set and dismantle rooms; assist service teams during events.
• Perform tableside service tasks (carving, flambéing, deboning, etc.) with confidence and exceptional attention to detail.
• Maintain service stations, control stock of cutlery, glassware and linen, and ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
• Adhere to hygiene (HACCP), Safe & Sound and FLHSSE standards; report incidents or maintenance needs promptly.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth service and outstanding guest satisfaction.
