A prominent yacht company seeks a Deck / Engineer for immediate onboarding during a shipyard period. The role involves assisting the chief engineer with the potential transition to a rotational position. Candidates must possess valid maritime certifications and extensive sailing experience, with expertise in electronics and hydraulics highly regarded.

Formación

• Valid STCW and medical certificate required.
• Extensive sailing experience is necessary.
• Knowledge in electronics, AV IT, and hydraulics is preferred.

It is a 35m private S / Y from 1995, based in the South of France. The yacht has a EU flag.

The project

Looking for a Deck / Engineer to start as soon as possible for the shipyard period to assist the chief engineer. If both sides are happy, the position could become rotational after the shipyard.

Lots of sailings are to be expected.

Desired profile

• Suitable candidates must have a valid STCW, and a valid medical certificate.
• Knowledge in electronic, AV IT, and hydraulics is a big plus.
• AEC 1 & 2 needed.
• Fluency in English is essential. French is a plus.
• Need to have previous extensive experience in sailing.
