What this job can offer you

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a difference in the global employment space as a Deal Desk Expert (6-month contract) within our Revenue Operations team.

This role supports a specific project and increased workload within the Expansion team.

What you bring

  • Experience in Deal Desk, Commercial Pricing Strategy, and Financial Analysis roles in the software industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and practical judgment in complex situations.
  • Expertise in data modeling and experience with complex models in Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate with Go-To-Market teams and cross-functional departments.
  • Understanding of software revenue recognition principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Data-driven with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize during high-volume periods, with schedule flexibility for end-of-month, quarter, and year-end.
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, diligent with deadlines, and capable of multitasking.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and CPQ.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Remote experience is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage order form-based deals for the Expansion team.
  • Own the expansion calculator and suggest process improvements.
  • Communicate non-standard requests from Sales clearly and accurately in the Deal Approval System.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on deal structure and quoting.
  • Ensure timely, compliant, and commercially sound offers with the Account Managers.
  • Design solutions to automate Deal Desk Expansion processes.
  • Manage quote management and pricing approvals, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Interpret contractual language and escalate issues as needed.
  • Monitor the Deal Desk case queue for assistance and advice.
  • Coordinate with Sales leadership on deal closures.
  • Work with the Compensation team to ensure accurate reflection of bookings for commissions.

Remote Compensation Philosophy

We ensure fair, unbiased compensation and pay above in-location rates, supporting global talent-hiring and local wealth in developing countries. Our salary range for this role is $63,300 to $91,000 USD, determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and market demands. Actual pay depends on various factors and may change.
