Omega CRM Consulting is seeking a DBT Senior Data Engineer to collaborate with a leading global pharmaceutical company.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in pipeline orchestration and DBT administration, to assist in building and maintaining robust data transformation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain DBT models and data transformation pipelines.
  2. Oversee data pipeline orchestration, ensuring seamless integration and data flow across systems.
  3. Administer and manage DBT projects, including version control, testing, and documentation.
  4. Collaborate with data analysts to deliver effective data solutions.
  5. Optimize and troubleshoot existing DBT models for performance and accuracy.
  6. Implement best practices for DBT administration, focusing on security, scalability, and reliability.
  7. Stay updated with the latest developments in DBT technology.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience with DBT and data transformation.
  2. Strong SQL and Python skills, particularly with Snowflake.
  3. Familiarity with pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow.
  4. Experience with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket.
  5. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications:

  1. Degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics are preferred.
  2. Certifications in Business Intelligence, Analytics, DBT, Snowflake, or Data Vault are advantageous.
