Operating under two brand names (Securitas Direct & Verisure) is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Senior DBA Sybase. The role will be part of a growing and talented Technology Team with a critical role that will help the Technology organization in the development and integration of the SW that will be built for a new family of products, delivering the world’s most advanced and intuitive smart alarm product suite.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Experience in SAP Products: Perform core SAP Basis administration functions including software installations, configurations, support package update and upgrade, performance monitoring, tuning and capacity management, utilising enterprise standards and leverage best operating practices. Products: HANA, ASE 16 RS 16 and IQ16.
2. Experience in SQL Server: Perform core SQL Server Basis administration functions including software installations, configurations, support package update and upgrade, performance monitoring, tuning and capacity management, utilising enterprise standards and leverage best operating practices. Versions SQL Server 2008, 2016 and 2019.
3. Participate and respond to incidents and problems by troubleshooting and providing advice and resolutions in a timely and professional manner.
4. Perform database migrations.
5. Assist in the technical analysis and design for current and future projects.
6. Demonstrable experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server and SAP.
7. Scripting in Linux.
8. Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
9. Support software developers with database operations.
10. Good communication skills to explain in detail, interaction with different teams.
11. Fluent in English B2.
12. On call support to maintain 7x24 coverage on the database environment.

Relevant skills that will be valued as a plus:

1. Experience in Agile Methodologies.
2. Other DDBB and Non-relational DDBB.
3. Ansible.
4. Knowledge of databases on cloud.
