24i is seeking an experienced DataOps Engineer in Madrid to join the Personalization team. You will play a hands-on role across data ingestion, processing, and cloud infrastructure to power personalization, recommendations and analytics.

You will design, build and operate production data pipelines and backend services in AWS, ensuring reliability, observability and scalable performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key.

Formación

• Strong Python development skills and production backend experience.
• Proven SQL with analytical/operational data sets.
• Experience building or maintaining data pipelines.
• Understanding of data modelling, transformation and data quality.
• Hands-on cloud deployment experience, preferably AWS.
• Experience with workflow orchestration and reliable pipelines.
• Observability implementation with logging, metrics, tracing and monitoring.
• Automated testing including unit/integration tests, CI/CD.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and operate data ingestion and processing pipelines for analytics and personalization.
• Work with structured and semi-structured data across cloud storage/processing systems.
• Develop and maintain data orchestration workflows with retries and recovery.
• Contribute to data modelling and transformations for downstream use.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability across the platform.
• Address performance, scalability and cost in data workloads.
• Design, develop and maintain Python backend services for the Personalization platform.
• Understand legacy codebases, fix issues and add new functionality.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with backwards compatibility where needed.
• Collaborate on product requirements and communicate trade-offs with the team.
• Develop and operate services in cloud environments (AWS), with IaC and CI/CD.
