• Identify issues and implement best practices and improvements.

• Configure monitoring tools and generate reports.
• Support escalations and technical issues within IT Operations.
• Review and improve technical processes.
• Identify, manage, and document issues with root cause analysis.
• Create technical and non-technical documentation.

We are seeking a Database Engineer to join our team in Spain.

Job Summary

The Database Engineer will manage shared services infrastructure, ensure service availability, and suggest process improvements.

Knowledge / Experience Required

• General database administration skills
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL databases
• Backup & Recovery techniques
• High Availability architectures knowledge
• Data security and integrity management
• Performance analysis
• Basic scripting skills

Other Requirements

• Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Main language: Spanish (excellent communication skills, both oral and written)
• English proficiency (medium level)

Tasks & Responsibilities

Valuable (Not Required)

• Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases
• Database recovery, administration, optimization, and performance tuning
• PgSQL programming and development
• Python and Shell scripting
• Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Certifications are a plus
