Job Summary

Join our expanding Data Delivery team, working with some of the most advanced BI technologies, and take on new challenges to support strategic projects focused on data. We have a roadmap of new products to support our clients and hotels. You will experience from day one working as part of our global teams, and benefit from working with some great data sets that we have already developed via our cloud data platform.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Modelling: You will be responsible for refactoring & improving data models, developing new data models, and troubleshooting data issues, managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  2. Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
  3. Commission and decommission data sets.
  4. Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems.
  5. Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  6. Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  7. Assess tests and implement new or upgraded software, assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
  8. Monitor Dataflows.
  9. Data Quality: Develop tests & checks to ensure the quality of the data. Work with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
  10. Data Security: Process confidential data and information, applying Best Practices and Internal Policies.
  11. Reporting: Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata. Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports. Help develop reports and analysis.

Required Skills:

  1. Extensive experience with SQL, data modeling architectures, data warehouses, and ELT.
  2. Experience with Bitbucket or Gitlab.
  3. Experience analyzing existing tools and databases and providing software solution recommendations.
  4. Demonstrated experience in handling relational databases, methodologies & processes to manage large-scale databases and datasets.
  5. Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
  6. Experience with other Data Tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
