A global technology leader is seeking a Data Security Architect in Sevilla, Spain. This role involves designing data security frameworks and implementing security controls for cloud environments. The Data Security Architect is responsible for designing the overall data security strategy and ensuring that data protection measures align with business and regulatory requirements. They work with IT, compliance, and security teams to define policies and frameworks for securing sensitive data against evolving cyber threats.Responsibilities :
Design and deploy data security architectures using encryption, PKI, DLP, and access control mechanismsDefine data security frameworks for on-premise, cloud, hybrid environments, and SaaS applicationsOversee the selection and deployment of encryption, tokenization, and data masking toolsDevelop Zero Trust data security models and define data segmentation policiesImplement security controls for big data, AI / ML models, and IoT environmentsDefine data classification and security policies aligned with GDPR, ISO, NIST, and other global regulationsDefine security models for cross-border data transfers and third-party integrationsCollaborate with IT, Data Governance, and Data Protection Officers (DPOs) teamsQualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field3+ years in cybersecurity, preferably in Data Security ArchitecturePreferred certifications :
