About the role

Our Data Team at Revolut comprises 300 professionals including Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Machine Learning Engineers, and Computer Vision Engineers, tackling a wide range of business challenges. While we have centralized leadership, most of your time will be embedded within multidisciplinary product teams—collaborating with Product Owners, Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and Operations Managers to solve problems impacting millions of customers.

We begin with deep data analysis to understand our customers and their needs, followed by applying advanced machine learning algorithms to optimize solutions. Our approach involves experimentation, iteration, and building automated, self-improving algorithms. We seek a talented Data Scientist to help shape the future of financial services apps, working alongside experts in Product, Design, Data Science, and Engineering on projects with direct customer impact.

What you’ll be doing

• Building an in-app personal assistant from scratch
• Developing user-focused features
• Delivering impactful, data-driven solutions to enhance the product
• Collaborating with product owners, engineers, and data scientists to solve complex data challenges

What you’ll need

• Experience in Deep Learning within Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (mathematics, computer science, engineering)
• Proficiency in data science tools (Python, SQL) and production environments
• Strong understanding of probability and statistics fundamentals
• Ability to diagnose problems and productionize research effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with Product Owners and business leaders

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in a quantitative discipline
• Experience with additional programming languages (Java, Scala, C++)
• Experience at a large tech company with a valuation over $15B
• Achievements in physics, maths, economics, or programming competitions
