We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic Data Science team. Our mission is to drive innovation and leverage machine learning and data-driven solutions to solve strategic business challenges. You will work across various domains, including product, sales, marketing, and operations, impacting business outcomes at scale. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about learning and leveraging data science to create real-world impact.

Initial projects may include : scoring models for sales and customer service, recommendation systems, automation of repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.

Conduct complex analyses for business stakeholders, translating insights into actionable recommendations.

Own the feedback loop for testing and improving machine learning models.

Design, propose, and measure A / B tests for product features, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Identify data-driven opportunities to enhance different stages of the customer journey.

Collaborate with data engineering and infrastructure teams to develop scalable, end-to-end solutions.

Recommend and implement new technologies, processes, and systems to optimize efficiencies and business performance.

Maintain awareness of emerging trends in data science, machine learning, and technology.

BSc / BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.

Around 4 - 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist

Strong communication skills to translate technical analysis into business insights.

Extensive experience with Python and data visualization frameworks (e.g., Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Experience with data modeling and statistical analysis.

Familiarity with cloud environments (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.).

Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.

Solid understanding of clean code principles and version control (Git).

Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.

Experience in designing and measuring A / B tests.

Your first contact with CoverWallet will be through an HR interview with one of our colleagues from the Talent Acquisition area, who will tell you everything about our company and its history, as well as the details of the position, functions and your future conditions. We would love to know your professional and academic career, and of course, your motivations and expectations for a new professional project. You will meet two of the colleagues from the Data Science team, who will explain to you in more detail what the team's day-to-day life is and its responsibilities. They will be very interested in expanding information about your experience as a Data Scientist as well as your knowledge of our main technological environments.

If everything has gone well and you have impressed our colleagues... we advance to the second stage of the process ! We will send you a data challenge based on a case study to find out your technical level and you will have a maximum of 7 days to complete it.

If you've made it this far, things are getting interesting... It's time for your Final Interview ! In this case, you will have the opportunity to meet one of our Heads of Data and Engineering, who will close the selection process with an interview aimed at getting to know you not only on a professional and technical level, but also on a personal level, so that both of you can reach the conclusion of whether the purpose of our project fits with your professional aspirations.
