About Us

We are expanding our data science team at Tendam to tackle challenging problems in the retail fashion industry. We are seeking a Data Scientist for a unique opportunity to influence how the world experiences fashion.

Responsibilities

1. Decompose complex data problems and conduct rigorous analysis and evaluations.
2. Preprocess structured and unstructured data.
3. Mine and analyze data from company databases to optimize and improve product development, marketing strategies, and business decisions.
4. Develop custom data models and algorithms for data sets.
5. Present insights using data visualization techniques.

Qualifications

• Scientific background with strong computational and analytical skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Understanding of big data systems, especially Spark (PySpark).
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques (clustering, regression, decision trees, neural networks, etc.).
• Experience with data visualization tools and packages.
• Drive to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Approximately 1 year of industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

Location and Work Conditions

Offices located in Madrid Capital, zona Norte, accessible by public transportation (metro, Cercanías-Renfe, buses).

Flexible working hours: Monday to Thursday, start between 7:30 and 9:30 am, end between 5:00 and 7:00 pm; Fridays with an intensive and flexible schedule, start between 7:30 and 9:30 am, end between 1:00 and 3:00 pm.

Contract and Salary

Indefinite contract with fixed salary plus variable components. Immediate incorporation; notice period required if currently employed.
