Requires going to the office at least 1 day a week.

We are handling millions of page views and thousands of orders per day. For this reason, we have to be smart with data and build the best recommendation systems for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, test, and apply predictive algorithms using machine learning and statistical models to help Deporvillage create customizable content.
  • Create forecasting models and recommend designs.
  • Interact with cross-functional teams such as engineering, infrastructure, product, and marketing.
  • Work on projects such as price elasticity, supply chain forecasting, recommenders, and fraud detection.
  • Utilize a modern tech stack that leverages AWS, Sagemaker, Bedrock, BigqueryML, Snowflake, Pyspark, etc.
  • Use Agile methodologies oriented towards quarterly OKRs.

What We Expect You to Bring

  • 3 years of experience as a data scientist or analyst engineer, especially in the e-commerce industry.
  • A degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a similar field.
  • Experience with statistical software such as R or Python for data mining, manipulation, and performing exploratory analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures.
  • Experience in A / B testing.
  • Solid engineering workflows, including CI / CD; test, automate, and monitor everything! Ownership and commitment are mandatory for us.
  • Empathy and being a team player are a must.
