Job Description

1. Work with data scientists, analysts, engineers and product management to implement enhancements, develop new features and work through business requirements into our data science and analytics initiatives.
2. Deliver on a wide spectrum of data-related tasks, ranging from reporting and analytics requests, to the implementation and analysis of machine learning.
3. Develop good quality code that is easily scaled and automated.
4. Work alongside engineers to ensure seamless integration of your work with tools that are live in a production environment.

Example Projects

Besides driving the transformation into a data-driven enterprise in general, here are some specific projects you will work on and contribute to:

1. Pricing and Promotion recommendation tools.
2. Pricing elasticity modeling.

About You

1. University or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
2. 4+ years' experience developing data science and analytics solutions in a business setting.
3. Experience with regression, linear / non-linear optimization, classification.
4. Strong Python skills required, especially with Pandas, common machine learning libraries and PySpark.
5. Solid analytical skills, ability to derive conclusions and questions from data patterns.
6. Efficient with git and Github.
7. Familiarity with Google Cloud (GCP), Docker and orchestration tools is a plus.
8. Experience using visualization tools like Tableau or Looker Studio is a plus.
9. Understanding of basic software engineering best practices to write reusable code that can easily go into production.
10. Team player, always willing to support your colleagues to the best of your ability.
11. Proactive mindset towards problem-solving, a “can-do” attitude is expected.
