What you will do

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic Data Science team. Our mission is to drive innovation and leverage machine learning and data-driven solutions to solve strategic business challenges. You will work across various domains, including product, sales, marketing, and operations, impacting business outcomes at scale. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about learning and leveraging data science to create real-world impact.

A typical day

• Develop predictive models, advanced analytics solutions, and visualization tools for internal teams and end customers. Initial projects may include: scoring models for sales and customer service, recommendation systems, automation of repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
• Conduct complex analyses for business stakeholders, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Own the feedback loop for testing and improving machine learning models.
• Design, propose, and measure A/B tests for product features, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Identify data-driven opportunities to enhance different stages of the customer journey.
• Collaborate with data engineering and infrastructure teams to develop scalable, end-to-end solutions.
• Serve as a technical representative when engaging with external stakeholders.
• Recommend and implement new technologies, processes, and systems to optimize efficiencies and business performance.
• Maintain awareness of emerging trends in data science, machine learning, and technology.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Produce detailed technical documentation and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you need to succeed

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Around 4 - 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist
• Strong communication skills to translate technical analysis into business insights.
• Extensive experience with Python and data visualization frameworks (e.g., Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib).
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data modeling and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Solid understanding of clean code principles and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Nice to have: Experience in designing and measuring A/B tests.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of best practices around service-oriented architectures or microservices.
