Job Description :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist specializing in Prediction Models for Sports Betting, to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in leveraging data analytics to drive strategic decisions and enhance our product offerings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract insights from data, develop predictive models, and implement data-driven solutions that optimize our sports betting platform.

What you’ll be doing :

• Analyze data, build predictive models, and develop data-driven solutions to address complex business problems using mathematics, statistics, programming, and domain knowledge expertise.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess data to ensure its quality and reliability.
• Explore and visualize data to identify patterns, trends, and relationships.
• Create and execute machine learning algorithms and statistical models.
• Ensure the effectiveness of data models through rigorous testing and analysis.
• Evaluate the performance of models and refine them as needed.
• Present results and suggestions to relevant parties using easily understandable visuals and concise reports.
• Work with teams across different functions to implement solutions based on data analysis.

What we’re looking for :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., Master’s or Ph.D.) preferred.
• Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong understanding of sports betting concepts, including odds calculation, risk management, and trading strategies.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate insights effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
