Job Description :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist specializing in Prediction Models for Sports Betting, to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in leveraging data analytics to drive strategic decisions and enhance our product offerings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract insights from data, develop predictive models, and implement data-driven solutions that optimize our sports betting platform.

What you’ll be doing :

Analyze data, build predictive models, and develop data-driven solutions to address complex business problems using mathematics, statistics, programming, and domain knowledge expertise.

Collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing data to ensure its quality and reliability.

Exploring and visualizing data to identify patterns, trends, and relationships.

Creating and executing machine learning algorithms and statistical models.

Ensuring the effectiveness of data models through rigorous testing and analysis.

Evaluating the performance of models and refining them as needed.

Presenting the results and suggestions to relevant parties by using easily understandable visuals and concise reports.

Working with teams across different functions to implement solutions based on data analysis.

What we’re looking for :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., Master’s or Ph.D.) preferred.

Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning techniques.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

Strong understanding of sports betting concepts, including odds calculation, risk management, and trading strategies.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate insights effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
