Job Description

ZF Aftermarket is seeking a Data Scientist for its Customer Strategy & Commercial Excellence department, located in Barcelona’s 22@ innovation district. The company is expanding its advanced analytics capabilities, focusing on data-driven solutions in the rapidly evolving mobility sector.

What you can look forward to as Data Scientist:

• Prototype Development: Create advanced analytics models for marketing, sales, pricing, and logistics.
• Modeling Cycle: Understand business problems, explore data, create and test models, and iterate until the solution is business-ready.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to improve models and provide actionable insights.

Your profile as Data Scientist:

• Strong background in computing and statistics.
• Experience with Python, R, Pyspark, and models such as neural networks and Bayesian modeling.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., Oracle, AWS) and big data platforms (e.g., Databricks, GCP).
• Knowledge of visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Soft skills like teamwork, business acumen, and data storytelling are essential.

The role is hybrid, requiring 3-4 days of presence at the Wojo office per week.
