Job summary

HP Barcelona is seeking a motivated Data Science Intern to join its Analytics Enablement team. You will learn Agile delivery in a cloud-based tech organization, support Scrum ceremonies, and help maintain key Jira/Confluence artifacts while building metrics and dashboards.

The role emphasizes collaboration across international teams, mentoring, and exposure to data platforms, cybersecurity, and MLOps in a world‑class R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and eligible to sign an internship agreement.
• Must be enrolled in a university in Spain and available Feb–June/July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support the Scrum Master for Platform and Infrastructure teams, facilitating stand-ups, planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Maintain Jira boards and Confluence pages; build and refine JQL filters and dashboards.
• Refine backlogs to ensure epics/stories are clear and sized; track dependencies, risks and impediments.
• Prepare sprint metrics and reports (velocity, throughput, cycle time) and turn insights into actions.
