ALG provides cutting-edge advisory services to assist clients in the aviation, maritime, and land sectors in overcoming challenges and fostering growth. Recently, ALG has expanded its offerings to include data-driven digital solutions that connect business and technology, ensuring sustainable and efficient growth in the transport sector.

Our new digital team offers a wide array of services tailored to each client’s needs, including digital strategy, analytical use case conceptualization, advanced analytics, cloud services, machine learning, and business intelligence solutions. All services are specialized for the transportation sector and are developed in collaboration with strategic and operational consultants. We focus on developing data experts across all modes of transport, with specialization in aviation, maritime, and land transport.

We are seeking recent graduates in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science and Engineering, among others, who are eager to work in our multidisciplinary Data & Intelligence teams within the transportation sector. Additionally, we are looking for a collaborative and resourceful consultant or senior consultant with experience in Data Science or Business Intelligence to join ALG.

Functions You Will Be Responsible For:

1. Proposing data-driven solutions using machine learning, descriptive statistics, or algorithms tailored to each analytical case.
2. Developing data models and applying mathematical, statistical, and programming techniques.
3. Creating dashboards, BI solutions, and reports.
4. Ensuring the quality of deliverables by cleaning data and discarding irrelevant information.
5. Participating in client meetings, events, forums, and throughout the project lifecycle from conceptualization to technical delivery and presentation.
6. Supporting the development of commercial offerings, digitalization, and analytics initiatives to enhance our strategic consulting portfolio.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Graduates from top-tier universities, preferably in Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Naval/Marine Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Data Science. A Master’s degree in Aeronautics, Computer Science, Big Data & Advanced Analytics is a plus.
• Experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence consultancy is desirable for junior profiles and required for senior profiles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Matlab, Scala, C++, or Java, with eagerness to learn more.
• Coursework or proven experience in Machine Learning and Data Science.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Proactive attitude, team-oriented, with strong communication skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (oral and written).
• Availability to travel.
• Enthusiasm and dedication to data projects and the transport sector (aeronautical, maritime, land).
