AxiaMetrics is seeking a Data Quality Engineer to enhance enterprise data operations by implementing automated frameworks and governance processes. You'll play a pivotal role in integrating quality checks, maintaining data standards, and ensuring the integrity across the data pipeline within a mid-senior level position.

Formación

• 3+ years in data operations, data engineering, or QA roles.
• Solid experience with Snowflake, SQL, and data monitoring frameworks.
• Hands-on with automation scripting (Python, Bash, or equivalent).

We are looking for a Data Quality Engineer to support enterprise data operations by embedding automation, validation, and governance processes across the data pipeline. You’ll work hands-on to integrate quality checks, enforce data standards, and improve visibility and trust in core datasets.

• Develop and maintain automated data quality frameworks and anomaly detection systems
• Implement validation logic at various points in the data pipeline (ingestion, transformation, delivery)
• Work with platform engineers to embed quality gates into GitLab / OpenFlow pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integrity issues across multiple environments
• Collaborate with governance and cataloging teams to enforce data lineage, ownership, and SLA rules
• Create dashboards and alerting systems to support operational visibility
• 3+ years in data operations , data engineering , or QA roles
• Solid experience with Snowflake, SQL, and data monitoring frameworks
• Hands-on with automation scripting (Python, Bash, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of orchestration tools (OpenFlow, Airflow, GitLab pipelines)
• Familiarity with data governance platforms like Collibra or Alation is a strong plus
• Clear communication and strong documentation habits
• Based in the EU with work authorisation
