We are seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy – SME with a strong background and a deep understanding of data protection regulations and security standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing data security solutions and conducting security risk assessments.

What will make you successful in this position?

  • Strong functional knowledge of key data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPL) and security standards (e.g., ISO27001).
  • Extensive telecom background.
  • Understanding of PDPL, CITC, and NDMO regulations and laws.
  • Experience with data security solutions and tools (e.g., encryption, masking, data discovery/classification, DLP).
  • Practical experience in conducting security risk assessments.
  • Proficiency with ROPA, customer rights, and consent management.
  • Experience with privacy tools (e.g., OneTrust).
  • Familiarity with data protection, data scanning, and endpoint protection technologies.
  • Proven experience in defining data protection/security controls.

Preferred Experience:

  • Understanding of the Collibra tool.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence.
  • Ability to quickly understand project landscapes and adapt to different environments.
  • Experience in conducting and organizing workshops.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions.
  • Ability to keep managers and stakeholders updated.
  • Highly organized and structured with a natural ability to maintain a documented audit trail.
  • Ability to prioritize work and deliverables effectively.
  • Future-thinking approach to proposing solutions.

What will be your mission?

  • Define and develop data protection standards, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Implement data protection technical controls for applications, including data breach and DLP solutions.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and reviews for data security controls, processes, and services.
  • Develop approaches and options for solution delivery and implement data protection solutions.
  • Create data protection policies, guidance notes, and templates.
  • Work closely with Cyber Security to streamline processes.
