DWS Group is seeking a Data Platform Engineer - Snowflake in Madrid to design, build and continuously improve a cloud-based data platform. You will contribute to end-to-end architecture and collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to implement secure, scalable data solutions.

The role requires expertise in Snowflake, modern data stack, IaC with Terraform, and orchestration tools such as dbt and Airflow. Strong Python/Java skills and English proficiency are essential.

Formación

• Experience in platform or data engineering with enterprise data platforms.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of the modern data stack focusing on Snowflake.
• Proficient with IaC and automation tooling (Terraform).
• Experience with orchestration tooling (dbt, Airflow).
• Excellent Python and/or Java programming skills.
• Familiar with SDLC tools such as Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Github.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Ability to apply AI tools to enhance productivity while using data responsibly.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to end-to-end architecture and design of cloud data platform components.
• Translate requirements into user stories and designs; implement and test platform capabilities.
• Develop reusable components for data ingestion, transformation and distribution.
• Build and maintain infrastructure components using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Collaborate with architects, security engineers and stakeholders to strengthen compliance and reliability.
• Translate product vision into actual implementations.
