Launchmetrics is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join the Data Enrichment teams. You’ll own the Lakehouse powering Discover, Genie, and Delta Sharing, building batch and near-real-time data pipelines with PySpark and Databricks.

Formación

• Engineer Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science with at least 3+ years in full‑stack SaaS development.
• Strong Python and PySpark experience; comfortable with distributed data processing at scale.
• Experience with Lakehouse architecture (Databricks, Delta Lake) and medallion patterns is a plus.
• Ability to design scalable data models, manage schema evolution, and ensure pipeline reliability.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build data pipelines (batch and near-real-time) using PySpark and Databricks across Bronze/Silver/Gold layers.
• Architect efficient Delta Lake table schemas — partitioning and clustering, schema evolution, enrichment workflows.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and data engineers to translate enrichment and search requirements into reliable pipelines.
• Own code quality: structured PySpark jobs, unit tests (pytest), and adherence to team conventions.
• Continuously improve pipeline reliability and cost efficiency (scheduling, retries, concurrency).
• Participate in cross-pod initiatives across the data platform.
