Job summary

Allianz Services is seeking a data analytics engineer to turn security data into reliable risk insights and standardized reporting. You will work within a modern analytics environment spanning cloud platforms, automated pipelines, and advanced visualization.

The role emphasizes data integration, governance, and AI-assisted reporting. Candidates should have strong Power BI skills, Azure Synapse/Data Factory experience, and fluency in English for global stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS or related field.
• Strong Power BI data modelling and visualization experience.
• Experience with Azure Synapse or comparable cloud analytics platform.
• Proficient in Python, PySpark, or SQL for data manipulation.
• Knowledge of data governance and documentation practices.
• Fluent English; ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ingest and merge data from SIEM, EDR, IAM, DLP and more to create a single source of truth.
• Build automated data pipelines (PySpark, Azure Data Factory) for KPI calculations.
• Develop Power BI dashboards with clear definitions and governance.
• Query and model data in Azure Synapse, SQL and NoSQL stores.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and trend reporting.
• Establish data dictionaries, lineage, and SOPs for data ingestion and reporting.
• Explore Generative AI to enhance reporting and analytics workflows.
