Sabia Personal is seeking a senior data engineer to own end-to-end data platform design, from scoping to production release. You will build and operate large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and foster governance across data catalogs and metadata.

You will collaborate with ML/AI teams and clients to ensure data products are reliable, scalable, and consumable via APIs and analytics. Hybrid work with global travel possible.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering with ownership of production data platforms or pipelines.
• Expert programming skills in Python and strong command of SQL.
• Expertise in data modeling, ETL development, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
• Hands-on with lakehouse architectures and columnar formats (Parquet, Iceberg, Delta Lake).

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end design and delivery of data platform architectures — lakehouse, catalog, governance.
• Design and operate large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and workflow orchestration for quality data.
• Define data modeling, partitioning, schema evolution to keep datasets interoperable.
• Maintain authoritative data catalogs with schemas, metadata, lineage, and access policies.
• Collaborate with ML/AI teams to deliver data products for analytics and APIs.
• Mentor peers, review designs, and raise engineering standards.
